Synopsis
In a near-future America, a revolutionary scientific procedure allows Black individuals to become white. Max Disher, a young Black man, seizes this opportunity, believing it will solve all his problems. However, he soon discovers that changing his skin color does not erase the complexities of race and identity in a society still grappling with prejudice and social hierarchy.
