Because of the Cats

In the seemingly tranquil seaside town of Bloemendaal aan Zee, a place known for its modern buildings and low crime, the Amsterdam police take an unusual interest. Inspector Van der Valk investigates a teenage gang, initially for robbery and rape, but the case soon escalates into something far more sinister. He suspects a corrupting purpose at play, all while being drawn into the enigmatic presence of cats.
