Synopsis

The conclusion to the Alcatraz saga, cowritten by Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson, resolves the cliffhanger ending of The Dark Talent. Told from Bastille's perspective rather than Alcatraz's, the book follows the warrior-knight as she takes the lead in the final battle against the Evil Librarians and faces a challenge that Alcatraz, for once, cannot solve on his own. Bastille vs. the Evil Librarians was published in 2022, six years after The Dark Talent, completing the series and giving Bastille — the character many readers considered the true heart of the series — her own starring role.
