I have mixed feelings about this book. On one side I liked that it brought back some important topics, like life in the village with its challenges and the threat of the green aliens coming back for them. But I hated the resolution on one of the main problems.
Kira can’t have babies, I found this interesting, because descendance it’s quite important for the Sakh since they are in danger of extinction. And she fears that given her infertility the aliens won’t resonate with her or will toss her out. It was different from the other books where they have a mate right away, the MCC in this one actually chooses her because he likes/loves her. But instead of opening a new path for girls who don’t want or can’t have babies but are trapped in Not-Hoth, the problem it’s solved with

✨ magic ✨ The magical worm fixed her body and she’s not infertile anymore, so everything is fine. It’s okay if your dream is a family but at this point there are too many pregnancies in this series that I lost count and it’s getting repetitive.
