Bad idea is the a romantic comedy, a standalone in the series — pinehaven marked universe by Vivienne Fawkes.
This book was my favorite, it is so rich, and gives off family vibes, because of the banter, domestic aspects of the book, and the love, pain, heartbreak, and sibling shenanigans, I loved it all, and adding to that, the characters are so funny, I couldn’t stop giggling at Rachel, girl was on a mission to make my tummy hurt. Never read a romantic comedy this good. Viv knows how to write and keep the readers immersed into her book. I loved the banter between the main characters too, the MMC is a yearner and eater, and the FMC is funny, kind, and big hearted, both of them make a beautiful couple. And oh, the intimate scenes were unexpectedly good, I appreciated all of them. Loved the entire book, 600+ pages, but a book can never be too long.

What i loved : rachel’s monologue, I loved being in her head, she’s too funny. She never stopped to make me giggle. And the MMC ? Being down bad for the FMC, coming back to the town only for her, we love yearning men!!! 🤌🏼👑
Favourite parts/ highlights :
“How you like to be held. What makes you open your mouth. Whether you make that same little sound when I kiss you as you do when I put my fingers inside you. If you respond to my tongue just as you did the last time I licked you.”

“Look at you.” His voice roughens. “You blush everywhere.”

“My hand. My bed. My girl.”

“The only reason I took that job was to get close to you.”

He catches my hair at the nape, gentle despite the desperation in his face. “I need to feel that pussy around me. I’ve been good. I’ve waited so long. Please.”

“Look here, lady. I don’t care what you think of me. Rhys thinks I’m a goddess, and he worships the ground I walk on. That’s good enough for us. You stay out of my relationship. He’s not available, so find yourself another man for a son-in-law. My Rhys is taken.”

“I started it so I could finally be worthy of Rachel Howard.”
[he’s talking about starting his company] 🫠🤌🏼🥹🥹
