This has to be intentional rage bait. It has to be. There is no way this is supposed to be a real novel. NO ONE ACTS IN NORMAL WAYS. It's the strangest book I've ever read in terms of character development. These girls were the absolute worst. How are they close to thirty?? They acted like they were 13. None of the adults acted like real adults. Priorities were all wrong for the characters. No sense of survival. No survival instincts for anyone. Terrible book. I did like how they introduced themselves to the guys. That was funny with the names they came up with on the spot. In hindsight, I hated this book so much but I was thoroughly entertained by all the stupidity. Awful in a movie and awful in a book, but apparently I'd still watch and read it. I hate this book so much. It's an angry four stars, believe me.
