Synopsis

Set in Mexico City in 1962, Aura is a short novel by Carlos Fuentes. This work is considered one of his most important and a standout of 20th-century Mexican literature. It was published in the same year as another of Fuentes's popular novels, La muerte de Artemio Cruz, and both are part of the Latin American literary boom.
