Synopsis

Henrietta Bascombe uses her inheritance to open a confectioner's shop in London, bringing along her elderly companion and two young women from her village. When the haughty Lord Carrisdowne learns his brother and friend are smitten with the ladies, he attempts to make the shop unfashionable. However, his plan backfires as he finds himself increasingly drawn to Henrietta.
