Astronauts

While the U.S. put the first man on the moon, the Soviet Union launched the first woman into space. This graphic novel chronicles the journey of NASA's first female astronauts, known as Group 9, as they worked to prove that women belonged in space. They faced the challenge of convincing the establishment and discovered that NASA had much to learn about making space travel accessible for everyone.
