Apartment Women

Yojin moves with her family to a government-run apartment complex outside Seoul, an experimental community designed to boost the national birth rate. Like her neighbors, she has agreed to have more children, but Yojin quickly feels uneasy about the forced community spirit and the true colors of other parents. This story traces the intersecting lives of four women in the complex, exploring the cultural expectations of motherhood and the unspoken imbalance of women's parenting labor.
