Synopsis

Any Way the Wind Blows brings Simon Snow, Baz, Penelope, and Agatha back to England — and back to Watford — after their disastrous trip to America. Having given up his role as the Chosen One of the World of Mages, Simon has to work out who he is without it, and what that means for his future with Baz. Baz is reckoning with what he's learned about vampires and his own family. Penelope is caught up in the fallout of a smuggling scheme. And Agatha, done with magic and mages both, reaches a breaking point of her own.

The finale of Rowell's Simon Snow trilogy — following Carry On and Wayward Son — is a story about endings: about laying ghosts to rest and choosing how to move on from the traumas and triumphs that shaped them.
