More like 3,5, but I give it half star more because it kept me good company; fast-paced, page-turner, clever at times (most of the time trying to be clever, though), but also exposition is prominent, characters are mostly bigger than life, unrealistic situations abound and in general the book gives the feeling of being rough in the edges. Oh, and I figured out who Janus was almost halfway in the book...
