In the small town of Hopewell, Illinois, a prophecy about a rare magical convergence known as the Gypsy morph sets in motion a desperate race against the forces of the Void. Former Knight of the Word John Ross and a local woman with a troubled past, Nest Freemark, must protect the morph before it falls into the hands of the demons hunting it. As the group of unlikely allies—including a redemption-seeking woman and a pack of demons with their own hidden agendas—converge on the town, the line between good and evil blurs in a battle that will determine the fate of the world long before the events of the Shannara saga.
