OK, the main premise is rather unrealistic, but nevertheless it's a very interesting "what if", and the writer does a good job in making it plausible, or at least not offending to my suspension of disbelief. It's a YA page-turner alright that probably would make a fine Netflix series for YA audiences; what I really liked though was the two very distinct narrative voices, a first-person narration from a diabetic teenager girl intertwined with a second-person narration addressed to a disturbed teenager boy.
