It was an interesting book, and not what I'm used to. I loved that it had short chapters because they're my favourite type. I can also understand that a lot of people find it boring or lacking, but personally i enjoyed the pacing and the story in itself; yes, most of the time the main character was some sort of spectator to everyone else's stories but by the end of it his story is complete as well and he grows (in many, many ways). It's about a different type of struggle that most of us are unfamiliar with, so that may be why it's difficult to connect with it. I enjoyed it nonetheless, so 4 starts for my first finished book of the year. yay!
(also this was the 2nd book on my "books recommended by namjoon" list and it was yet another success!!)
