Synopsis

Miranda Fitch's life unravels after an accident ends her acting career, leaving her with chronic pain, a broken marriage, and a growing dependence on painkillers and alcohol. As she faces losing her job as a college theater director, Miranda pours her shattered dreams into an upcoming production of Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well. Unexpectedly, she experiences a miraculous recovery, but the cost of this sudden change remains to be seen.

Mona Awad is a Canadian novelist and short story writer, born in Montreal in 1978 and raised largely in Mississauga, Ontario. Her books include 13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl (2016), Bunny (2019), All's Well (2021), Rouge (2023) and We Love You, Bunny (2025), darkly comic fiction that moves between literary satire and horror. She has lived in the United States since 2009 and teaches creative writing at Syracuse University.
