Synopsis

A woman with a rare blood type is kidnapped by her ex-husband's family and held captive for months while her husband races against time to find her. The plot centers on kidnapping and captivity, which maps directly to suspense rather than romance or mystery genres — the threat comes from an antagonist's actions, not a puzzle to solve. Moods are tense throughout due to the captivity subplot, with moments of genuine emotional warmth between the couple that earn hopeful and romantic; it is also genuinely frightening in its depiction of her imprisonment.
