All Our Shimmering Skies

In Darwin, 1942, as Japanese bombs rain overhead, motherless Molly Hook, the gravedigger's daughter, turns to the sky for guidance. She embarks on an odyssey to find Longcoat Bob, the sorcerer who cursed her family, accompanied by a razor-tongued actress and a fallen Japanese fighter pilot. This is a story about gifts from the sky, curses from the earth, and the secrets we bury, set against the wild and magical monsoon lands of northern Australia.
