Toni's best friend has been locked away in a mental hospital ever since she told police she was attacked by vampires, and the only way to get her out is to prove vampires are real. Toni takes a job as a bodyguard for the Undead to do exactly that, but she gets more than she expected when she meets Ian MacPhie, a centuries-old Scottish vampire who looks and acts twenty-seven and is looking for a wife.

As the holidays close in, Toni finds herself drawn to a man she was never supposed to fall for, and one mistletoe kiss threatens to turn her whole plan upside down.
