Synopsis

On Halloween night in 1984, the suburban neighborhood of Coventry, Massachusetts, is fractured by family secrets and bitter rivalries. Amidst the trick-or-treaters, four strange children in vintage costumes beg the local kids for protection from a terrifying entity known as the Cunning Man. As a mysterious clearing and an ancient blackthorn tree appear in the nearby woods, the neighborhood must confront a supernatural threat that feeds on their division.
