Ugh.
As a HUGE fan of Ashley flowers and her podcast, it pains me to even have to write this review.
I found myself being actually legitimately upset. I was yearning to read this after seeing so many great reviews on Amazon and other places but as I read I was discovering I actually was very disinterested and disappointed in it as a whole. After being so excited and hunting for this book EVERYWHERE, I felt pretty let down and ridiculous for wanting to read it so bad.
There’s a lot of errors, wordy sentences, filler “fluff” that makes no sense, and things repeated that really didn’t need to be. And the ending????? Like come on.
I’m such a huge huge reader, and there’s some times other books get me pretty disinterested for awhile (a couple of the ACOTAR books as a recent example) but none like this. I had to FORCE myself to finish it, because I hate leaving a book unfinished.
This book dragged on and on and on and I just found myself wishing I was done with it.
Very very confident in the 1 star review. I’ve literally never given a book a 1 star. Ever. There’s been others that deserved it, sure. But not quite on this level. This is possibly the worst book I’ve ever read.
