Synopsis

Nicholas Hook is a man on the run, haunted by his past and forced to fight as a mercenary archer in France. After surviving a brutal massacre, he finds himself drawn back to England and into the service of King Henry V. Hook must once again take up his bow and fight for England's crown in a desperate battle against overwhelming odds.

Cornwell attended London University and worked as a teacher before joining the BBC, where he spent a decade, eventually becoming Head of Current Affairs in Northern Ireland....
