Adam's fall
Synopsis
Lilah Mason is a physical therapist with a reputation as one of the best in her field. For years she has watched her sister fall in love, marry and raise children, while she has put her energy into her career and felt content with that.
Her newest case is a hard one. Her patient, Adam, questions her methods and her authority at every session, and Lilah answers by working harder to help him get back the life he has lost.
The book is a contemporary romance built on a professional relationship. Lilah's patience and good humor carry her through the clashes with Adam, and the recovery she is driving forward is the center of the story.
What she does not notice until it is too late is that each gain Adam makes costs her something. Her duty as his therapist pulls against the feelings growing in her, and she has to decide which path is right for both of them.
