Adam of the road

Eleven-year-old Adam loves traveling the open roads of thirteenth-century England with his minstrel father and his red spaniel, Nick. When his father suddenly vanishes and Nick is stolen, Adam finds himself alone. He must search the same roads, filled with a colorful cast of characters, hoping to reunite with his father and his beloved dog.
