Audiobook received from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media in exchange for an honest review.
I honestly started this audiobook because I needed something to listen to during my walk, but then I found myself completely glued to it from the very beginning. I ended up finishing it in one sitting lol.
What an amazing book. Considering it’s a short read (I think it’s under 200 pages), it somehow delivers everything and more. A story about corporate greed and capitalism wrapped in a chilling cosmic horror? Yes spectacular give me 14 of them right now
What really stood out to me is how well it mixes sci-fi with horror. The cosmic side makes you feel small, confused, and a little unsettled. And on top of that, there’s this sharp take on corporate ambition and how far people are willing to go for progress and profit, which honestly feels a bit too real.
The audiobook narration deserves its own praise too. 10/10
For such a compact book, the emotional and psychological impact is surprisingly strong. If you love stories that are thought-provoking and just a little bit existentially terrifying, this one is absolutely worth your time. Five stars, no hesitation.
