Couldn’t get into it. Ava was an accomplished mechanical engineer but her idea for decorating the tree was to basically put two people in harnesses and fly them around? Wow. So creative. She doesn’t have a relationship with her mother? The author’s explanation - her dad said her mom was fire so she just didn’t get to know her over the 30 years of her life. How ridiculous is that?
