I really enjoyed this book. Kitty was such a great protagonist, she knew what she wanted, how to get it, and would do anything for her family. I loved that about her.
That said, I wish there had been more romance. The relationship between Kitty and the Lord felt a bit rushed, like it jumped from friendship to love too suddenly. They had amazing banter and sarcasm (which I loved), and I really enjoyed how they opened up to each other. But it still felt more like a solid friendship than a slow-burn romance. I just wanted a little more romantic buildup to really feel the connection.
