It was entertaining just not swoony.
Jane and Adrian’s reconnection had depth, but not much romantic chemistry. Still, I liked the way they navigated grief, trust, and the lingering weight of their past.
Not fiery, but quietly ultimately satisfying enough to keep my attention. Luckily I was in the mood the teamwork and okay with less on the tenderness. And as always, Mary Jane Wells makes every scene she touches gold.
