A Fellowship of Games & Fables

A Fellowship of Games & Fables is the third book in J. Penner's cozy Adenashire series. Jez, a grumpy fennex, wants nothing to do with the cold, the snow, or the bustling winter games descending on the charming town of Adenashire. A drunken boast lands her in the middle of the festivities and, worse, fake-dating her friend Taenya, a warm and patient woodland elf.

Together the two women tackle challenges ranging from ice sculpting to scavenger hunts while their pretend relationship sparks something genuine underneath. It is a lighter, more romance-forward entry than some of the later Adenashire books, built around Jez's icy exterior slowly thawing under Taenya's persistence.
