Synopsis

Sam has always loved Christmas — the warm, tradition-filled holidays she grew up with in her Scottish family are the highlight of her year, and she's looking forward to going home for them. Her boss Luke had a very different childhood: wealthy but cold, with a mother who prioritized social standing over family togetherness, and no real holiday traditions of his own.

When Luke insists Sam accompany him to New York for work just before Christmas, she's furious at missing her family gathering — but the two end up in close quarters, working through their initial friction together. As Sam shares her own holiday traditions with Luke and shows him what a family Christmas can feel like, their antagonism gradually gives way to understanding, and then to romance, against the backdrop of the Scottish countryside and a bustling New York City.

A Christmas romance blending comedic banter with heartfelt, tender moments, exploring the gap between family warmth and material wealth.
