Synopsis

In the spring of 1963, a shocking sex murder in Belmont, Massachusetts, mirrors the Boston Strangler's pattern. Police quickly convict Roy Smith, a black man who cleaned the victim's house, but the Strangler's reign of terror continues. Meanwhile, Albert DeSalvo, the eventual confessor to the Strangler's crimes, is also in Belmont on the day of the murder. This powerful narrative chronicles the collision of these three lives, ultimately destroyed by one of America's most controversial serial murder cases.
