Synopsis

When Maia Fremont is offered the chance to create floral arrangements for a royal wedding, she doesn't expect to become the bride herself. The crown's deception thrusts her into an unwanted marriage to Ragnar, a troll healer who wanted a stronger, half-elven match and instead receives a fragile human he considers an insult to his bloodline.

Bound by honor rather than affection, Ragnar and Maia have to navigate the treacherous politics of the trolls' world together, even as a wary, unwilling attraction begins to grow between them, and a deeper darkness threatens to tear apart everything they're building.
