4.5/5 ⭐️

A Curious Kind of Magic is a delightful story brimming with whimsy and magic. It shines with clever world-building, charming characters, and just the right amount of wonder. It’s the kind of fantasy that feels like curling up with a cozy blanket—comforting, magical, and warm. Perfect for readers who believe everyday life can hold a touch of magic.
Willow is working hard to keep her father’s curiosities shop open and make ends meet. Then, she meets Brianna, a visitor with magical abilities. Bri isn’t there to help Willow; she’s searching for something she’s been looking for for years. Willow and Bri team up to help each other. Will their partnership work out, or will it fall apart? Only time will tell, but you’ll want to find out by reading it. I promise, you’ll be drawn in and transported to the magical world of Ardmuir, and before you know it, you’ll be back in reality.
The narrator, Anna Burnett, has done a fantastic job narrating this audiobook and bringing the different characters to life. Her speech and flow were impeccable and on point. I’d recommend this whimsical and magical read.
