Synopsis

In 1506 Joseon, King Yeonsan's tyranny has plunged the court into fear, censorship, and cruelty. Iseul, daughter of a once-respected family, defies the danger to rescue her younger sister from the king's grasp, only to learn just how far his power reaches.

Prince Daehyun, haunted by his half-brother's brutality, is quietly plotting to remove him from the throne, aware that failure means death. When Iseul and Daehyun's paths collide, their mutual suspicion gives way to an uneasy alliance against a king neither can defeat alone.
