A Blue Ribbon Romance is C.M. Nascosta's companion novel to Morning Glory Milking Farm, retelling the pair's romance from the point of view of Rourke, a minotaur working at the titular farm in the small monster-populated town of Cambric Creek. Rourke wasn't looking for love — he's still nursing the wounds of a divorce — but he can't stop thinking about the masked milking technician who tends him, even though he doesn't know her name or what she looks like.
The book follows Rourke's attempt to prove that even an older bull can learn new tricks, as an unlikely workplace connection turns into something neither of them expected. It's a slow-burn, explicit small-town monster romance, and it can be read as a stand-alone companion to Violet and Rourke's story in Morning Glory Milking Farm.
