Synopsis

Detective Inspector Angelique de Xavia is hunting a serial killer who leaves a comic-book-style calling card at every scene — a man known only as the Black Spirit. When a plot to assassinate a high-profile target in the Scottish Highlands is uncovered, the investigation pulls in Raymond Ash, a former video-game shop owner and old friend of the killer's. As the two paths converge, the plot thickens into a deadly game of wits, betrayal, and survival set against the backdrop of Glasgow and the Highlands.
