Yasuhisa Hara (原泰久) is a Japanese manga artist, born 9 June 1975 in Kiyama, Saga Prefecture. He studied at the Kyushu Institute of Design, graduating in 1998 and completing a master's degree in 2000, and had already been recognised by the Chiba Tetsuya Awards — an Anticipation Prize in 1997 for "Ueda-kun's Theory of Degeneration" and the runner-up grand prize in 1999 for "Otomatsu".
