This was an okay book. I wasn't a fan of the theme regarding grown-adult women friendships. It felt forced and sort of like high school in some way. The murder mystery was interesting and the writing was suspenseful. The other element of this book that I was not a fan of was the extremely short chapters. I'm talking one to two pages max for a chapter. It just felt odd to be at chapter 56 and be 25% of the way through the book. Just didn't make sense. Overall the book was all right. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue reading The Murder Club Mysteries but we shall see.
