Synopsis

When a cosmic accident transports the mining town of Grantville, West Virginia, into the heart of 17th-century Germany, the residents find themselves caught in the brutal Thirty Years' War. Led by union leader Mike Stearns, the modern Americans must use their technology and democratic ideals to survive a landscape of kings and religious conflict. It is a clash of eras where coal miners and high school students have to outwit the most powerful armies in Europe.
