The narrative weaves fictional elements with the actual social and political climate of 1960s Tokyo, including references to real figures such as the filmmaker Takeshi Kitano, the author Yukio Mishima, and the criminal Norio Nagayama.
The story is contained within two volumes.
The work was included on the official selection list for the Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2016.
