The Powerless Trilogy

In the kingdom of Ilya, a Plague left some people with Elite abilities and others with none, and the powerless Ordinaries were banished by royal decree. Paedyn Gray, an Ordinary surviving as a thief by passing herself off as a Psychic, is thrust into the Purging Trials — a competition staged to display the Elites' powers — after saving a prince's life. Lauren Roberts' romantasy series runs to three novels, Powerless, Reckless and Fearless, alongside two companion novellas, Powerful and Fearful, which retell events of the trilogy from other points of view.
