Frequently asked questions
What is the reading order for the Star Wars Legends Epic Collection?
The Star Wars Legends Epic Collection volumes are curated thematically or chronologically within specific eras of the Star Wars Legends timeline, rather than being a single continuous narrative. Each volume typically collects a complete story arc or a series of related comics, allowing readers to pick up any volume that covers an era or character they are interested in.
How does the Epic Collection relate to other Star Wars comics?
The Epic Collection re-collects previously published Star Wars comics from various publishers, primarily Dark Horse Comics, under the 'Legends' banner. These stories are distinct from the current canon Star Wars comics published by Marvel since 2015, offering a comprehensive way to experience the Expanded Universe narratives.
Are there specific sagas or characters highlighted in the Epic Collection?
The collection is organized into distinct sagas, such as 'The Old Republic,' 'The New Republic,' 'The Empire,' and 'Rise of the Sith,' each focusing on different eras and featuring iconic characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and various Jedi and Sith Lords from the vast Legends continuity.
