What is the correct reading order for the Star Wars: Aftermath series?
The Star Wars: Aftermath series should be read in publication order: Aftermath, followed by Life Debt, and then Empire's End. This sequence follows the chronological progression of events immediately after the Battle of Endor.
Does the Aftermath series connect to other Star Wars stories?
The Aftermath series is a foundational part of the new Star Wars canon, directly bridging the gap between Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. It introduces characters and establishes events that are referenced and expanded upon in later books, comics, and television series like The Mandalorian.
Are there any adaptations of the Star Wars: Aftermath series?
While the Aftermath series itself has not been directly adapted into a film or TV show, many of its characters, plot points, and the overall galactic situation it establishes are reflected and continued in subsequent Star Wars media, particularly in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
