Staged

STAGED is a limited collection of six unabridged Shakespeare plays published by Penguin Random House Children's/Puffin in 2024, each paired with a new foreword by a contemporary YA author drawing a line from Shakespeare's original tropes to today's young-adult fiction: Romeo and Juliet (foreword by Jennifer Niven), Hamlet (Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé), Macbeth (Kat Delacorte), As You Like It (Talia Hibbert), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Becky Albertalli), and Much Ado About Nothing (Holly Bourne). The texts are Shakespeare's own, set in a dyslexia-friendly font, with covers illustrated by Lucie Louxor.
