Origami Yoda

A six-book middle-grade series by Tom Angleberger, narrated through the "case files" its Tomlinson Elementary/McQuarrie Middle School students compile about a finger-puppet Yoda folded from a paper scrap by their odd classmate Dwight — and whether it can really predict the future. Each volume mixes prose, doodled comics and folding instructions as the group navigates middle-school friendship, rivalry and Star Wars-fueled schemes. Begins with "The Strange Case of Origami Yoda" (2010) and concludes with "Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus" (2014); the activity volume "Art2-D2's Guide to Folding and Doodling" is a companion, not a numbered entry.
