Light Years

Kass Morgan's young adult science-fiction series is set at the Quatra Fleet Academy, an interstellar military boarding school that opens its doors to cadets from every planet in the solar system after a devastating attack by a mysterious enemy. It follows four recruits — a hotshot pilot chasing a captaincy, a boy from a toxic planet who steals an identity to get in, an outcast looking for somewhere to belong, and an infiltrator with a mission she cannot reveal — as rivalry, romance and divided loyalties collide with the threat of interstellar war.
