Frequently asked questions
How does this series connect to Magic Kaito?
The series features occasional crossovers with the character Kaito Kid, who originates from the author's separate manga series titled Magic Kaito. These appearances often involve direct interactions between the two protagonists that provide additional context for their respective storylines.
Is there a specific way to follow the overarching plot?
While the series is largely episodic, the narrative density increases significantly over time as the author weaves more consistent plot progression into individual cases. Newer volumes tend to contain more frequent developments regarding the central mystery compared to the earlier, more standalone chapters.
Are there other related manga series I should know about?
Several spin-off manga series exist that expand on the lives of supporting characters, such as Zero's Tea Time, The Culprit Hanzawa, and the Police Academy Arc. These works operate within the same universe and provide deeper background for the ensemble cast.
