Barney

Margaret Goff Clark's science fiction trilogy for young readers, published by Dodd, Mead between 1979 and 1983 with illustrations by Ted Lewin. Barney is a foster child whose sighting of a UFO near his home leads to a friendship with a boy from another world, and to adventures that carry him beyond Earth. The first two books were later reissued in paperback by Scholastic as The Boy from the UFO and The Boy from the UFO Returns.
