Amber: The Corwin Cycle

The opening pentalogy of Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber, narrated by Corwin, a prince of the true world of Amber. Waking on Earth with his memory gone, Corwin is drawn back into a centuries-old family struggle over Amber's throne, and into the discovery of the Pattern and the shadow-worlds — including Earth itself — that Amber casts. First published 1970–1978.
