Absolute Superman is an ongoing series in DC's Absolute Universe, launched in November 2024 as part of the DC All In initiative. Written by Jason Aaron with art by Rafa Sandoval, it reimagines the Man of Steel without the Kents or Smallville to shape him.
This Kal-El was old enough to witness Krypton's destruction before reaching Earth, where he lives as an undocumented outsider, wandering the world and protecting ordinary working people from those who exploit them. His only constant companion is Sol, a Kryptonian AI that serves as both his cape and his Fortress.
Standing in his way is the powerful Lazarus Corporation, where a very different Lois Lane works. A raw, hopeful hero in a harsher world, the series is collected in trade paperback volumes.
